Commercial & Growth Intern 

Location: Hybrid (Brunswick, VIC + remote) 

Commitment: 2 days/week, 12 weeks (for-credit university internship or volunteer based)

The Role:

As a Commercial & Growth Intern, you’ll work directly with the CEO on projects that help drive Magic Valley’s growth. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the business, marketing, and content creation side of an innovative food tech startup.

Key Responsibilities:

• Marketing & Growth Strategy: Assist with developing and executing marketing campaigns to grow brand awareness.
• Content Creation: Support the creation of social media content (posts, captions, stories, videos), blog posts, newsletters, and website updates. 
• Social Media Management: Help manage Magic Valley’s Instagram, LinkedIn, and other social platforms - draft posts, schedule content, and engage with our community. 
• Leverage AI tools & Agents: To supercharge marketing, content creation, and growth strategies.
• Investor & Partner Communications: Prepare presentations, assist with outreach,      and help build our investor network. 
• Media & PR Support: Identify media opportunities, draft press releases, and liaise with media contacts. 
• Event Support: Assist in planning and running tasting events, industry panels, and investor meetings. 
• Market Research: Track trends in the cultivated meat, sustainability, and food tech spaces. 
• CRM & Pipeline Management: Support lead tracking and relationship management with investors, partners, and stakeholders. 

What We’re Looking For:

• Marketing, Business, Communications, or Entrepreneurship students 
• Passion for ethical innovation, sustainability, and food tech 
• Interest in social media, content creation, and digital storytelling 
• Strong writing and communication skills 
• Creative thinker with a proactive attitude 
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
